Amorgen is a death/folk metal band which was formed out of the remnants of the band Tales of Ale and was brought to full strength when guitarist Michel Trijsburg joined the ranks in the spring of 2010.
There are several different musical tastes and backgrounds among the five members of the band, and after setting their eyes at a mixed style of folk and death metal the band was ready to tear up stages all across the country.
The songs all tell a different story, but what they all have in common is that they are narrated by one person, namely Amorgen, the bard.
Set in a world of strife, he wanders through the lands observing the many conflicts as well as the despair among the people, silently awaiting the time to bring an end to the chaos that plagues the realm.
But until that time arrives he lurks in the shadows, always vigilant, and always watching.
